As two men sat outside talking one evening, the visitor heard his friend's dog whimper as he lay on the porch. A few minutes later, the dog whimpered again and then again a few minutes after that.
"What's wrong with your dog?" he asked.
"He's lying on an old, rusty nail sticking out of the porch."
"Really? Why doesn't he get up and move?"
"Guess it doesn't hurt enough yet."
Now, you might think you've got more sense than that dog, but let me ask you a few questions.
